Scope & Content Brief historical walking tour of the Spring Point area and Willard neighborhood. Rosella describes early history starting with European settlers in the 1600s, wars with Native Americans, then describes historic locations starting at Wharf Point (Fishermen's Point), then to Old Settlers Cemetery, Fort Preble, the Snow Squall project, site of the old blockhouse, Small School and the Smith Street Cemetery. She mentions that the most prominent burial in that Jewish cemetery is likely that of Hiram Abrams, who was born in Portland and would later become president of United Artists Film Corporation.
