News clipping from 1893 - describing the wreck of the fishing schooner Mary Lizzie and the rescue of the sole survivor, George H. Upton.
There were six other men on board the schooner when it went down, all drowned. All were residents of South Portland: Captain John B. Woodbury, Charles A. Ridley, Horace Upton, Fred R. McIntyre, Alpheus F. Doughty, and John Hughes.
