Dyer, the People's Cash Meat Market, and Dyer and McLaughlin were located. The Eddie Griffin Club was later on the site, then the building was torn down and a new building was constructed. It was first operated as Big Babe's Tavern and then as Taco Trio Mexican restaurant.
