Fort Preble - Building 10, Fire Station - record from Quartermaster Book. Construction of the building was completed on February 25, 1921 at a cost of $11,473. The building had a concrete foundation and floors, brick walls, and a slate roof. The former fire station building is now used as the Security office at SMCC, and the former bake house to the right is now connected to it by a breezeway. |
