In his will, he bequeathed land and property to his wife and children, including land on Long Island, Marsh Island (perhaps Cow Island? described as a 12 acre island south of Long Island) and his land in South Portland (at that time, the area where his house was on Cushing's Point was known as the Second Parish of Falmouth and was just changing its name to Cape Elizabeth). His will also bequeaths his negro slaves to his wife and children. |
