913 Sawyer Street - article on the original Dyer house built by Henry Dyer when the family moved to Falmouth (Cape Elizabeth/South Portland). Henry Dyer moved here around 1730 from Truro, MA, with his wife Anna Small and the two oldest of their nine children. The house that existed at the time of this article was built in 1760 and was considerably changed and enlarged over time. |
