Summary |
Cape Elizabeth Sentinel, October 22, 1881. On page 1 - an accident at the D.W. Clark ice house at Barberry Creek. Staging fell, injuring four men. Mr. Clark and Mr. Chaplin were notified and they arrived with Dr. Buzzell to attend to the injured men. Improvements to the ferry route were made by Captain J.A. King. the Mary W. Libby has now been put on the route, replacing the Josephine Hoey. On page 2 - advertisements for the Seavey and Dyer store, called the Cape T Store, in Knightville (corner of Ocean and C Street), the L.D. Reynolds and Company store at Cape Elizabeth Depot, and attorney Frederick Harford. Obituary for Mrs. Sadie York Harmon, wife of Charles Harmon and daughter of Captain J.C. York. |
