Cape Elizabeth Sentinel, January 28, 1882. On page 1: Ligonia - Mr. Burnham has a a large crew at work cutting and housing ice; Messrs. Fuller Bros. are stocking up their store on the camp ground, and will we understand, have a formal opening next Monday; James S. Libby has been admitted as a partner in the ice firm composed of Gordon R. Garden and William Jordan, of this village, and A.P. Fuller of Portland; Gordon R. Garden is recovering and will soon resume his duties as superintendent of the Oil works. On page 4: Cape Elizabeth Depot - the corporate name of the cemetery association at this place is "Brown's Hill". Knightville - William E. Duddy has taken the harness shop previously occupied by Frank Bond. Advertisement for E.J. Harmon, taxidermist, located at the corner of Sawyer and High Streets, Ferry Village; advertisement for Seavey & Dyer, grocers, with their Cape T Store in Knightville. |
