On page 1 - Public notice by the city municipal officers of the taking of land at Wharf Point, Simonton Cove, to create a public park; a permit was granted to Willard Hose Company to move its hose house across the street; other business before the City Council. Joseph Mann has died, his dad owned the farm on Highland Avenue called the Congdon farm, Joseph was a pupil of Master Hutchinson at the Barren Hill School. Pages 2-8 are primarily national and international news. Top of page 8 says that James H. Harford is editor and prioprietor of the newspaper. |
