Benjamin Woodbury home, 551 Preble Street, Cape Elizabeth [South Portland], Maine, in 1888. Shown in this photo: Clara E. Woodbury is the baby with her rag doll "Gypsy" and her mother; Auntie Woodbury beside the fence. The Woodbury home was sold and converted to become the Grand View Hotel. House was sold by Charles J. Woodbury in 1898 to W. Libby. Libby sold the property to Bessie N. Hearn in 1901 and she sold it to Flora Johnson in 1920. Flora Johnson sold it to Herbert P. Cook in 1940. |
