Photoengraver's plate with image of the A.J. Cash grocer business with Arthur Moody in horse-drawn buggy in front of the store. This mercantile grocer business was established in 1882 by Andrew J. Cash, Sr. He brought his oldest son, Andrew J. Cash, Jr., into the business as a partner. Just before Andrew Sr. died in 1892, he turned over his share in the business to his other son, Alphonso P. Cash. |
