Portland Shipbuilding - 1917 - construction of the steamer Kingfisher. The Kingfisher was one of several fishing trawlers built under contract by Portland Shipbuilding Company, South Portland, Maine, for East Coast Fisheries Company during World War I. The ship was completed and launched in February, 1918. |
