Description |
Aerial view of storage tanks in Ligonia. This image provides an excellent view of Ligonia and the area that used to be called "Island Trotting Park" in the 1850s and which became the Civil War training camp known by many names including Camp Abraham Lincoln and Camp Berry. The creek that cuts through Calvary Cemetery used to be much larger and on its way to emptying in the Fore River, essentially cut off this piece and gave it the feel of an island. |
