Description |
Construction of the steamer Electronic at the Portland Shipbuilding Company, South Portland, Maine. Progress photograph taken on August 9, 1913. Framing up the ship; the frames are being put into position on the keel. The Electronic was a wooden passenger steamer built for the Cape Breton Electric Company; that trolley company would put the steamer in service as a ferry, carrying passengers between Sydney and North Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. |
