Description |
Dennison's Pharmacy, 505 Ocean Street, South Portland, Maine. The drug store was established by Keith Dennison, Sr. and opened on April 15, 1946 on this corner of Ocean Street and Sawyer Street. The original drug store was on the left side of the building, with a beauty shop on the right side in the front and a barbershop on the right side in the back. In this photo, the barbershop had been replaced by a clothing store known as The Toggery. His son, Keith Jr., took over the business after Keith Sr.'s death in 1955. |
