Thomas Devine apothecary bottle. Thomas Devine ran a drug store in Legion Square for over two decades, starting around 1908. This upscale pharmarcy was located at 112 Ocean Street. In addition to the prescription service and soda fountain, Thomas Devine's Pharmacy also sold school books and school supplies. The Knightville School was located directly opposite the drug store in Legion Square. |
