Amber bottle, lime water, Thomas F. Devine pharmacy, Ocean Street, South Portland, Maine. Label reads: Made from specially prepared lime. Largely used as an addition to babies foods, to guard against stomach and bowel troubles, very usefully employed in dyspepsia, with acidity of stomach, heartburn, diarrhoea and diabetes. Mixed with an equal measure of milk, it is one of the best remedies in existence for nausea and vomiting, dependent on irritability of stomach. |
