Stereoscope viewer. A stereoscope viewer is a device used for viewing a pair of separate images mounted side by side on a stereograph card. These images consist of a left-eye and right-eye view of the same scene. When viewed through the stereoscope, they appear as a single three-dimensional image. Stereoscopes were popular from the 1850s to the 1930s. |
