Builder's half hull model, mounted on original back board, of the tug Pejepscot. Back board is marked with Bay Shore Lumber Co., Brunswick, ME, 1906. The tugboat Pejepscot was built at Portland Shipbuilding Company, South Portland, Maine, for the Bay Shore Lumber Company, Brunswick. Ship construction started in 1906; the tugboat, also known as a towboat, was launched in January of 1907. The back board is 61 3/8" long by 10 3/4" high.
