An 1855M ramrod ball screw, found at Bannerman's Island Arsenal, New York state, in the 1950s. A 58 caliber Minie ball that was recovered from North Anna battlefield, showing screw marks at the tip where it had been extracted from a loaded musket at the end of the fighting. |
